Welcome!
The Friends of Geneva Cliffs are working to restore an Urban Wild in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Beginning in 2006, the Friends of Geneva Cliffs have been working with the City of Boston and several development groups to change the scenery of their neighborhood. By providing signage, official entrances, a perimeter walking trail, and cleared vantage points, the Friends of Geneva Cliffs intend to increase visitation and recreational use of the site.
Grand Opening Spring 2008
The Friends of Geneva Cliffs will begin planning for a Grand Opening Event late Spring to celebrate completion of the new Geneva Cliffs Walking Trails and Nature Sanctuary. Watch out for more news as construction and landscaping picks up in early spring and we have more information on the Grand Opening activities.
Construction Progress
Construction began late November 2007 to create the Nature Trails around the Geneva Cliffs, but is slowed down due to winter weather.  When the trails are complete residents will be able to enjoy walks for exercise, to walk their pet, and to enjoy the Nature Sanctuary. Also a beautiful new stone wall along Geneva Avenue is being built to mark the front edge of the Cliffs.  The wall will have an attractive entryway leading visitors into the Cliffs. Our contractor is  Alpha Masonry and Construction, Principal- Frank Woulfe and Project Manager Harry Neilan.
